  • On My Mind:
I really wasn't going to say anything, because, well it's something that I really wanted to be sure about.  It isn't the kind of thing that you just blurt out without making sure.  And I'm pretty positive about it now.

Oh, I'm sure that others might get so excited about something like this that they'd be blabbing it the very second they had suspicions.

Not me.  I'm more one of these "Let's wait and check it out first" type people.  Especially with such a sensitive matter like this.

I mean, it could be majorly embarrassing if someone jumped the gun and started making declarations without being mostly sure, at the very least, and then was completely wrong, yanno?

No, the best thing to do in cases like these is biding your time while biding your tongue.  Wait until you've got at least semi-solid confimation, some type of solid sign.

Besides, who knows what could go wrong in a case like this.  You don't want to start broadcasting it too soon because, well .... sadly because the unthinkable could happen - it might not continue.

Then there's the whole newness and specialness of something like this.  You kind of want to horde it and keep it all to yourself, because you know that once you start telling people, you're going to get a ton of advice from well meaning friends and family members.  It always happens.

And I'm sure there'll be one or two people who are stunned or disapproving.  That always seems to happen too.

Huh?  Oh, the news?

Well -----

I'm fairly sure Toby Keith wants me.  *nodsnods*

He keeps showing up in my dreams regularly.

That's a sure sign, isn't it?
